I remember, around 2 years ago, when I first started posting outfits on my blog, I had my staple wardrobe essentials, the fool-proof pieces that would create the perfect outfit without me even trying. If you have been reading my blog for a long time, I think you could guess these pieces for sure. My essentials were a chambray shirt, a striped full skirt and a pair of leopard heels. I know, how time changes! I no longer have these pieces in my wardrobe (except the chambray shirt, since it's a classic) simply because they do not represent my style these days. As much as I loved mixing prints, these days I am more into monochromatic and minimalistic looks, as they say "Less is More".
Clean cuts and simple details are all that I need and the pieces shown in the pictures above perfectly represent the the vibes I am going for. The fitted high-waisted boyfriend jeans and a striped crop top have been my latest uniform, from work, to dinner with friends this is the base of all my outfits, where I can play with the different accessories to change up the look and turn it form casual to sassy in a whim.
